The Olympic Coast of Washington is home to some of the wettest weather in the United States. The slightest break in the cloud cover right before sunset yielded dramatic lighting conditions on the last night of an otherwise washed-out trip with Ryan Dyar

The conditions were perfect for shooting on this evening in Utah, so I was bound and determined to stay in this creek for as long as it took to make a decent image despite the frigid winter temperatures. It took about an hour to be able to feel my feet again
